NOTICE AND TERMS OF USE
Manor Place is operated by Palace Skateboards Limited (“Palace”). Manor Place is free to skate and play football at. Here are some slightly dry but well important things to know before you come.
OVER 16
If you're over 16 you need to bring a valid photo ID. If you can't prove your age then you can't come in. Bring ID!
Without exception, everybody who enters Manor Place has to sign these Terms of Use. Sign up in advance, or you’ll have to do so on arrival.
UNDER 16
If you are under 16 you will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who will need to complete the Terms of Use on your behalf.
ALL SKATE USERS
The Park is open to Skateboard only – strictly no BMX, scooter or inline.
Sign up is for a specific time slot at the Park.
Please arrive promptly, at least 15 min before the assigned slot.
Experienced riders only.
Ride to your ability.
No waxing.
We strongly recommend that all riders use a helmet, pads, and other safety equipment. If you engage in activities without safety equipment you do so at your own risk.
SOCIAL FOOTBALL RULES
Sign up is for a specific time slot at the Cage.
Please arrive promptly, at least 15 min before the assigned slot.
Please leave the Cage at the end of your slot.
There are no changing facilities at Manor Place; please come ready to play, with your own equipment including a ball.
Please wear Trainers or AstroTurf boots – NO blades or studs are permitted.
MANOR PLACE HOUSE RULES
Entrance is on Manor Place. Please use the front entrance.
No smoking, no food, no alcohol, no drugs in Manor Place.
Random bag checks in operation.
Please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum when leaving the premises.
Bullying or violence of any kind is forbidden.
Be safe, and be safe to others.
You are responsible for maintaining your own equipment.
By attending Manor Place, you may be photographed and filmed by Palace or its affiliates; you grant Palace and its affiliates the right to use such recording in connection with Manor Place or its promotion. Smile, you’re on CCTV.
Palace reserves the right to refuse entry, or require you to leave, at its discretion, and without explanation.
DETAILED TERMS OF USE
You participate in activities at Manor Place, including the Park and the Cage, at your own risk.
The risk of injury from the activities involved in using the Park or Cage is significant, including the potential for permanent disability and death. All participants knowingly and freely assume such risks, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for their participation and for having and using the appropriate safety equipment. In the absence of negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation by Palace, its employees or agents, these Terms of Use exclude to the fullest extent permitted by law all responsibility and liability for the death, personal injury or illness of any person whilst present at Manor Place.
If you have any medical conditions (permanent or temporary) or think you may be pregnant please consult your doctor for medical advice before using the Park or Cage at Manor Place. It is your own responsibility to ensure you are fit to participate. You must inform us of any medical conditions.
CCTV is in operation and footage is the property of Palace. Images may be captured for promotional or training material.
Palace does not accept responsibility or liability for any theft, loss or damage to any person's personal property or belongings.
If an accident occurs, whether you are involved or not, please stop skating or playing if you are asked to do so until a member of staff tells you it is safe to continue. If you need assistance, please report to the Manor Place team immediately.
No tampering or opening the fire extinguishers, fire alarms or fire doors other than in the event of a fire will be tolerated. You will be required to leave Manor Place immediately if you are caught doing so.
You agree to these Terms of Use and to follow all instructions given by Palace and its employees and agents whilst at Manor Place.
