Manor Place Residency – Application Privacy Terms
Scope & Acceptance
These Application Privacy terms apply specifically to the Manor Place Residency 2.0 application process at manorplace.com, and sit alongside and in addition to Palace Skateboards' full Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
By submitting an application, you confirm you have read and accept these terms.
What We Collect
When you apply, we collect:
Work submission: your portfolio, links to your website or social profiles (Instagram, Behance, Pinterest, etc.), and examples of previous work
Basic Personal Details: name, email address, location, age, social media handles, and your practice/discipline
We only ask for what's needed to assess your application — please don't include any special category data (see "Sensitive Information" below).
How We Use Your Data
We use the information you submit to review and shortlist applications, contact you about the outcome, and, if you're successful, to offer you a place on the Residency.
We process your application data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit your application. If you're invited to take part in the Residency, further processing (for example onboarding and studio access) is necessary to perform the resulting agreement with you.
Who We Share It With
Because this Residency is run in partnership with Nike, your application data — including your portfolio and contact details — is shared with Nike Inc. for the purposes of reviewing and progressing applications. Nike and Palace are bound by contractual data-sharing and confidentiality obligations covering this programme.
If you're selected to progress, Nike may contact you directly using the details you provided.
International Transfers
Palace stores and reviews applications within the UK. However, because Nike Inc. is headquartered in the United States, data shared with Nike may be accessed from, or transferred to, the US. Where this happens, we require appropriate safeguards to be in place (such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) before your data is shared.
How Long We Keep It
We only keep application data for as long as needed to run this Residency cycle. Unsuccessful applications are deleted at the end of the application and decision period. If you're selected for the residency, your data is retained for as long as needed to administer your participation, in line with our general Privacy Policy.
Your Rights
As set out in full in our Privacy Policy, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, request a copy in a portable format, withdraw consent at any time, and object to or request erasure of your data. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.

Sensitive Information
Palace does not seek to collect special category data (for example, information about health, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or trade union membership). Please avoid including this kind of information in your portfolio, bio, or previous work examples unless it's directly and necessarily relevant to your application.
